My Experience and Qualifications

I taught at Secondary level (including A Level) for 6 years in West Oxfordshire and have been privately tutoring for 17 years, during which time I have had the opportunity to support students from ages 5 to 18 as well as adult learners. In my most recent school role as the Lead Practitioner of Mathematics, I oversaw numeracy intervention across the school as well as mentored trainee teachers and delivered personal development sessions to newly qualified teachers. As a mentor for the PGCE teacher training course at The University of Oxford, I have also regularly assisted the university in interviewing applicants for their course. Prior to teaching I worked as a Key Maths Teaching Assistant  and as a Youth Worker specialising in students with SEND and behavioural difficulties. 

Qualifications: 

• First Class Honours in Maths With Year In Industry (BSc) - The University of Kent.
• PGCE in Mathematics - The University of Oxford.
